Well it may have done less than they thought it would, but it has already covered production cost opening weekend worldwide. It should make money, just not what was expected. They couldn't have had that large of a marketing budget, as you really didnt see much. Could be a slow burn. That has happened, as most people who saw it are recommonding it and raving about it. This could translate into a strong second weekend.

In the books, the Nazgul are even more ineffectual. The closest any of them ever come to killing anyone, main character or otherwise, is Theoden, who's crushed by his frightened horse. And the horse officially got all the credit for that kill.

It was a very fun movie. The kind you have to see at the theater

The theater is so expensive. nearly $100 for tickets, snacks and drinks for just 2 people. We love the experience but rarely go anymore.

There was very little advertising and the trailers that was shown showed very little, just boring stuff. It basically said who was in the movie
